BRIANA + TYLER
Wedding season is upon us! Rachel and I shot our first wedding of the year in early April. We arrived at Twin Mills Club in Denver, North Carolina mid afternoon to start scoping the venue for potential posed photo locations. Once settled, we were greeted by Alex, the venue manager who introduced us to Tia, the venues Wedding Coordinator. Alex gave us a brief tour and then led us to the bridal suite where Briana and her three bridesmaids were in hair and make up. After confirming a game plan with Briana, Rachel stayed for shots of the bridesmaids and Briana’s mother getting ready.
I made my way to the opposite end of the venue to start getting photos of Tyler, the groom, and and his groomsmen. The Twin Mills Club is an incredibly spacious venue with modern farmhouse decor, and plenty of natural light. I used their entertainment room to capture shots of Tyler, his friends, and soon-to-be family members shooting pool and hanging around the poker table. With the ceremony starting soon, Rachel and I took photos of Briana’s dress and wrapped up a few detail shots. The ceremony was gorgeous and went off without a hitch. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Afterwards, the newlyweds were greeted and congratulated by their guests. We spent a few minutes getting photos of the full bridal party inside the venue and out on the patio.
Once Briana and her friends posed for a few shots in the “Scuppernong Suite,” everyone was ready to enjoy the reception. We spent the rest of the night getting candids of their friends and family letting loose on the dance floor and competing for the bouquet and garter. After sunset, we finished up with some breathtaking photos of Briana and Tyler by the glass fire pit on the patio. This was such a fun experience and we hope Tyler and Briana enjoy looking back on their photos for years to come! Congratulations to the happy couple!
